Added Clojure 1.3 documentation today. The Clojure language itself is pretty tight, but its nice to have something to browse through when looking for some elusive method. Last night, I was listening to music, about to go to bed, totally relaxed, and then suddenly smelt that something was burning. I ignored it as I thought it was probably coming from outside. PHP is a weird language. $x = new Foo(); print $x->bar(); works fine as you’d expect. but print new Foo()->bar(); print (new Foo())->bar(); all do not work. I do not understand how you can build an expression parser, where the code above works, and the code below does not. It’s almost as if $x = new XXX(xxx) a separate case searched for by the parser? I mean if you have an expression parser capable of handling brackets, i.e. (1+2)..

The amazing Django documentation recommends that you use Apache and modwsgi to deploy your webapp. While this is certainly not bad advice, you may not want to use Apache after all. Apache is a beast that eats up a lot of memory, is kind of slow and can’t handle as much traffic. I'm getting tired of my editor situation (Long story, used to be a scite man, migrated to e-text editor, then to notepad plus plus, all horrible) and wanted a refresh. Today was the 2011 HBF Run for a Reason . Despite the fact that I was feeling quite sick on Friday, I pulled myself together for the run. Alongside with the SoundCloud Android app we’ve created a new Java Wrapper for the SoundCloud API and today we can finally release it to the public! It is simple to use, supports OAuth2 and requires a minimum of external dependencies so it should be easily embeddable in both desktop and mobile applications.

Poking my head in here to confirm that I am in fact not dead. I humbly offer this nifty time-lapse video as proof. Started a small project to brush up on Blender skills. Modeling a Sig Sauer P220 in Blender 2.57. The model is low-poly and incomplete (need to finish the other side, the magazine, some bullets, etc.), but it's close. Next up, textures, materials, lighting, rigging, and animation!
