Zum Beispiel statt if ( someVariable == null ) { throw new IllegalArgumentException ( "someV..

Problem: Compute 16% of 25 in your head. Solution: 16% of 25 is equivalent to 25% of 16, which is clearly 4. This is true for all numbers: $x\%$ of $y$ is always equal to $y\%$ of $x$. The first one is $\frac{x}{100} y$ and the second is $\frac{y}{100}x$, and because multiplication is commutative and associative, both are equal to $(x \cdot y) / 100$. You can pick the version that is easiest.

I initially bought a 32x32 RGB LED matrix in 2018. Back then the idea was to fit it onto a bag, as some kind of wearable device, for 35C3. But it never really worked out. So in preparation for CCCamp23 I noticed the LED panel again and decided to order some more of them. These are the 32x32 4mm pitch RGB LED Matrix Panels from Pimoroni , with either the Interstate 75 W or the Adafruit RGB Matrix Bonnet to run them with a RP2....

US Citizenship - ingo-richter.io - 2 years ago - eng
I’m a US Citizen Now 🇩🇪 + 🇺🇸 TL;DR On July 31, 2023, I received my US Citizenship certificate during the Oath Ceremony at the USCIS Field Office in San Francisco. The whole process from filing BBG to certificate took ~22 Months. There was a delay in the biometrics appointment since I was in Germany for a more extended period. I now have German and US Citizenship and can freely roam between countries.

It’s been a busy summer, and the large shortfall in donations last month has been demoralizing, so we’re taking a week off to rest and recuperate. The curated links section will be (mostly) silent, and behind the scenes we’ll be taking a brief break from our usual researching, writing, editing, illustrating, narrating, sound designing, coding, et cetera. We plan to return to normalcy on the 11th of September. (The word “normalcy” was not co....

Artur Malabarba's Debugging Elisp Part 1: Earn your independence is nearly a decade old, yet it rings just as true today. Learning to Edebug really "is the right decision for anyone who doesn't know how to Edebug." Why, you may ask? He best puts it as "running into errors is not only a consequence of tinkering with your editor, it is the only road to graduating in Emacs." For me personally, it earned me that independence to bend....

During my lifetime, I have met with people who had certain skills, like reading the weather, or knowing a technical subject inside out, or being able to learn pretty quickly while being thorough. I have admired these people, and wanted to learn what made them tick. The main question was "How is this possible, and what can I learn from these people", and the feeling accompanying this question was always a healthy wonder and awe, not envy or ....

This is a collection of random personal experiences. So if you don't want to read everything, feel free to skip to the end for takeaways. I write because I'd like to see more high-quality meetups. I was contracting at the time and I figured a meetup might be a good way to source contracts or just meet inte....

But hold on a sec – let's talk about the not-so-friendly company you're sharing that network with. Hi, Change tut weh.

The idea of collecting quotes is not something new. I think that’s the way most people think of note taking in general. There’s even a style of journal some people keep called a Commonplace book, which builds on this idea. In a Commonplace book, you are mostly collecting the thoughts of others. You might also put in your own reaction to those—your thoughts on those thoughts—but the focus is on the collecting. I want to recommend a spin on..
